Mrs. B came to us for a Valentine’s present for her husband. This was one of the first Boudoir Portrait sessions that we have ever done, but I think that Mr. B will be happy with the images!
I’m so thankful for all of the lovely ladies that trusted me enough to stand in front of me (and my Cannon) and allowed me to show the world how beautiful they really are. The more I learn about and experience Boudoir and Glamour photography, the more I see that we’re all the same (at least partially). We all have insecurities. We’re women, after all. 😉 We all have things about us that we wish we could change, both with our bodies and in our lives. We want to go further, do better, add hours to our day. Here’s the thing: we need to embrace today. More specifically, we need to embrace OURSELVES today. Honestly, I’m not happy with my body, my schedule, lots of things. I’m “stuck in a rut”. Not going to lie. I struggle daily, but I know I need to embrace the woman that I am TODAY and try like heck to do better tomorrow. But- I’m not going to let that “trying to do better tomorrow” stop me from loving myself today.
Right now, you’re wondering why I’m talking about this la-la-crap instead of the Beautiful Mrs. B or even Boudoir Photography, for that matter. Well, I am! These women came to the studio to create gifts for their husbands. What they received however, was a gift for themselves. So, if you’re thinking about doing a Boudoir session, remember that it’s not even about the photos. It’s about loving the person you are. You deserve it. You’re beautiful.
